I'm missing my son who is in the army.
My family went to Beijing, China to celebrate my son’s army duty in January before he entered the army in February. This is the picture in front of The Forbidden City. My son took a picture so he wasn’t seen. It’s very cold. We always wore a mask, muffler and gloves. The old palace is different from Korea’s. The floor is covered with stone and the wall is also surrounded with stone in order not to be attacked by invaders. There are no trees or soil at all in The Forbidden City. They can be an obstacle keeping invaders from attacking. It’s not like a palace but a prison.
This is the very famous sculpture made by a Chinese artist. My son begged the beautiful lady to look at him. But she didn’t want to. We teased him, “You got the elbow.” The street which the sculpture is on is called “Art street”. There are so many art works and shops on the street.
My son was in Paris last year. After he graduated a high school, he didn’t enter university. I asked him to study again for the entrance exam so that he could attend a better university. He disagreed with me. So I recommended that he had better go abroad and learn something by travelling.
